This kit contains everything you need to set up a “busker”-style performance program to give students a low-pressure performance opportunity! Check out my blog post on how I run this program in my school as part of Music In Our Schools Month to get more details on the program.

The busker-style performance program encourages students and community members to share music, no matter the level, style, or genre, with the rest of the school community. Performances are set up in the school lobby or other high-traffic area before school, and passersby are encouraged to listen as they come into the building. Because there is no stage and no formal audience, the performance is much more low-pressure for students who need more practice performing in front of others.

Included in this kit:
2 posters to put up around the school (one to invite signups, the other to advertise during the month)
3 scheduling calendars (one for 3 per day, one with 2 per day, and one blank)
2 letter templates to send to parents and teachers to invite them to participate as well
